水道の水の中の「PFAS」が問題になっています。

この中の「PFOS」と「PFOA」は、前は、火を消すときの泡(あわ)などに使っていました。

体に悪いことがわかったため、日本では輸入(こうにゅう)や生産(せいさん)ができません。

しかし、国/sが日本中の水道を調べると、国が決めた量を超えているところがありました。

このため、国は24日の会議で、法律を変えて厳しくチェックすることにしました。

水道の会社などは、PFASをときどき調べなければなりません。

1Lの中に50ng以上のPFASが見つかった場合、水をきれいにしなければなりません。

国は、2026年4月から法律を始めたいと考えています。

PFAS in water is becoming a problem. PFOS and PFOA were used in foam for putting out fires in the past. It was found to be harmful to the body, so it is not imported or produced in Japan.However, when the government checked water systems across Japan, some places exceeded the set limit. Therefore, the government decided to change the law and increase checks during a meeting on the 24th. Water companies must regularly check for PFAS. If more than 50 ng of PFAS is found in 1 liter of water, the water must be cleaned .The government plans to start the law in April 2026.
